I talk about our Happy Hour tradition quite often and how we look forward to game days where I can get away with making nachos or appetizers for our main meal since I really don’t like to cook.
Whenever I discover a new recipe or healthy snack that my entire family can enjoy, I get excited since those moments are somewhat rare.
Pretzel Crisps came into our world a few weeks ago and it hasn’t been the same since. I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but these are thin salty snacks that can be used to replace tortilla chips, crackers, or baguettes, and can be topped with just about anything you can think of.
In case you can’t think of what you could possibly put on top of a pretzel, you’ll be excited to know that I went to the grocery store and bought salami and several different types of cheese to try out on our first snack binge with Pretzel Crisps. Brie, Blue cheese and Meunster were the first three we sampled with the 7 flavors we were given to taste test.
My favorite were the Everything flavor, which – if you like bagels – has the similar taste of an Everything bagel. The Buffalo Wing and Jalepeno Jack were a bit spicy to eat just plain, but put some yummy goodness on top and you’ve got a great Happy Hour, Half-time treat the whole family will love.
